As we are not using any blades and the punches are so delicate, it takes only two days to heal the donor and the implanted area. But the extra skin attached to the implanted hair takes almost 10 days for shedding, after which it looks like a normal tiny hair
In FUE, they use bigger punches which take a long time for healing and forms a scare. In AFT, we use punches the same as the diameter of the hair, so it heals without scarring and also, we are using PRP and Stem cells to grow the extracted hairs.
