Follicular Unit Extraction

A personalized FUE hair treatment to ensure the best outcome for you.

Hair loss in men and women is due to hormonal imbalance, genetic predisposition, vitamin deficiency, anemia, negative internal and external physical conditions. It affects in the form of “M” shaped in the Crownal part, “O” shaped hair loss in the occipital region later progression of the hair loss in these regions will leads to complete baldness of the head. Still, with the guidance of skillful doctors/surgeons and right treatment solutions best results can be experienced.

The latest automated VCare’s FUE technique can achieve more than a thousand grafts. In FUE, the extraction of the entire follicular unit is dependent on the principle that the area of attachment of arrector muscle to the follicular unit is the tightest zone. Once this is made loose and separated from the surrounding dermis, the inferior segment can be extracted easily. Because the follicular unit is narrowest at the surface, one need to use small micro punches of size 0.6–0.8 mm, and therefore the resulting scar is too small to be recovered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Patients should always be aware that they may require more than one FUE hair transplant procedure in their lifetime. This mostly depends on the possibility of experiencing a future hair loss within areas that were not included in the first hair transplant procedure.

Following the procedure the patient will be able to observe increased density in the transplanted region. However, it may take 15 days for the scabs in the transplanted area to fall out and the new permanent hair will start noticeable growth at around 2-4 months’ time after surgery. In most cases it can take up to 12-15 months to see end results.

The operation is performed under local anesthesia, so one does not experience pain. You may feel a slight sensation from time-to-time in the areas of your scalp during the procedure but you will not experience any pain. In addition to this, once the effect of local anesthetic wears off after the procedure, one can expect a mild degree of pain.

The duration of a hair transplant depends on the number of grafts needed to be implanted for the area of coverage.
